El Colegio de Abogados de Madrid celebró los pasados días 7 y 8 de octubre la ceremonia de entrega de los Premios de Secciones 2020 para galardonar a los colegiados y colegiadas madrileños que, con sus trabajos, han contribuido a la especialización jurídica y doctrinal en distintos ámbitos del Derecho.
El diputado de la Junta de Gobierno del ICAM Eugenio Ribón, acompañado por los presidentes de las respectivas Secciones y por los representantes de las empresas patrocinadoras (Sepin, Aon y Colex), resaltó que en estos Premios «encontramos trabajos de una calidad científica extraordinaria, con unas aportaciones absolutamente novedosas. Son un instrumento vivo de cambio normativo, de propuestas de modificaciones legislativas y nos enseñan que el estudiar es la razón de ser del abogado de cada día».
La ceremonia de entrega contó también con la presencia del Decano del ICAM, José María Alonso, encargado de entregar personalmente el premio de la Sección de Derecho de Familia y Sucesiones y el premio de la Sección de Abogados de Empresa.
El Decano hizo hincapié en el mérito jurídico que suponían los artículos seleccionados, así como en la aportación doctrinal que representaban para el resto de compañeros/as: «Estos trabajos, que son de enorme profundidad, ayudan a que los profesionales incidan en la investigación de determinados aspectos de la especialidad y nos sirven también para dar traslado a instituciones y organismos a efectos de que tengan en cuenta en sus posibles reformas las conclusiones a las que ese llegan en esos estudios», aseguraba.
Los colegiados y colegiadas ganadores expresaron su agradecimiento al ICAM por el reconocimiento y, junto al premio, recogieron un ejemplar del Anuario de Secciones 2021, una obra colectiva conformada por el conjunto de artículos ganadores en esta edición que, además de haber sido remitido a universidades y Colegios Profesionales, estará disponible para préstamo en la Biblioteca del ICAM.
